Package Prices & General Terms

Package prices are fixed, non-negotiable, and non-transferable. Prices may change without prior notice. The only way to secure the current rate is to book now.No credits, refunds, or discounts will be provided for late arrivals, unused services, or early departures.If you require an official payment receipt (in addition to your booking confirmation), please contact us, providing:

• Full Name
• Billing Address (including country)
• Reservation Reference

Responsibility & Force Majeure

MKB Brazil, its organizers, instructors, assistants, and partners cannot be held responsible for any circumstances beyond our reasonable control that may result in the suspension, modification, or cancellation of activities.

No refunds shall be issued under such circumstances, including but not limited to lessons, rentals, or scheduled services.

Circumstances beyond our control may include, but are not limited to:

Government restrictions, political or social unrest, war, riots, terrorism, civil disturbances, strikes, industrial disputes, transportation disruptions, flight cancellations or rescheduling, airport closures or congestion, natural disasters, fires, epidemics, pandemics, health risks, or severe weather conditions.

Booking & Payment Policies

All payment-related costs (bank fees, transfer commissions, PayPal fees, etc.) are the responsibility of the client.

Cancellation Policy 

Deposit (50%)
Non-refundable under all circumstances, including medical emergencies.

Balance (50%)
Credits are determined based on the cancellation date:

• 59+ days before retreat → 100% of balance retained as credit

• 45–59 days before retreat → 50% of balance retained as credit

• 30–44 days before retreat → 25% of balance retained as credit

• 0–29 days before retreat → No refund or credit

Credits remain valid for one year from the cancellation date.

Travel Insurance & Health Coverage

MKB Brazil packages do not include travel insurance.

Clients are strongly recommended to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:

• Medical expenses

• Accidents & injuries

Insurance Waiver:

Clients choosing not to obtain insurance accept full responsibility for any risks, including injuries, medical expenses, cancellations, or financial losses.

Liability & Assumption of Risk

Participation in kiteboarding, and related activities involves inherent risks.

By attending, clients acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks.

MKB Brazil, its instructors, and partners shall not be held liable for personal injury, property loss, or damages, except in cases of proven negligence.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall limit any rights that may be available to clients under applicable consumer protection laws in their country of residence, including the United States.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts as determined by applicable law.

Agreement to Terms

By submitting payment, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including all payment and cancellation policies.
